STONY POINT, N.Y. -- The Alzheimer's Association Hudson Valley Chapter is offering a free wellness retreat for people with early to middle-stage dementia and their family caregivers on Tuesday, Sept. 13 at Stony Point Center.
The retreat will feature both joint and separate activities for people with dementia and caregivers, including a music social and workshops on healthy living, creative gardening, therapeutic art, yoga for beginners and stress management techniques.
Complimentary breakfast and lunch will also be provided. Preregistration is required. Call Jody Addeo at 845-639-6776 with questions or to sign up.
The retreat will be from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Stony Point Center is at 17 Cricketown Road.
