Haverstraw's United Latin Festival Returns Sunday

HAVERSTRAW, N.Y. -- The sixth annual United Latin Festival, in Haverstraw, is returning this Sunday, and it will begin with a parade filled with music and dancing.

The free event will show off a variety of Latin cultures, including Puerto Rican, Mexican, Dominican and Ecuadorian.

The parade will be followed by a festival which will include vendors and a variety of Latin bands, including SonSublime, which will perform at 6 p.m.

The festival runs from noon until 8 p.m. The parade will begin in Emeline Park, go to Broadway and end at the Haverstraw Elementary School lot.
