STONY POINT, N.Y. -- One taste of the pizza at Amalifi Pizzeria Restaurant in Stony Point, and it's easy to see what all the fuss is about.
Amalfi has some of the best tasting pizza and Italian food in the area, according to customers, and Manager Shelby Squillante let Daily Voice in on a few of the restaurant's secrets.
Part of what makes it so good is our sauce.
"Our sauce is awesome," Squillante said. "Our pepperoni rolls and spinach rolls are also very popular, and so are our wraps."
Amalfi's most popular pies are the tomato, basil and vegetable, and the chicken bacon ranch.
The slices at Amalfi are probably larger than what most people are used to as well, since they cook up a 'house size' - a 24-inch monster of a pie (18-inch is regular large).
"People love our pizza," Squillante said. "And the wraps and rolls are all a big hit with customers. All of our food is made with a lot of love, it's all fresh, nothing pre-cooked, and we're always changing things up."
