Hudson Valley Star Varsity Football Player Arrested On Assault Charge

Jordan Bryan, a senior running back on the Middletown High School football team who is a potential Division I college recruit, was arrested and charged with assault on Friday, according to the Middletown Times-Herald Record.

The 19-year-old Bryan was in the Orange County Jail being held on $10,000 bail Friday night as Middletown was hosting Pine Bush, the report said.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Bryan, who rushed for 1,675 yards with 18 touchdowns as a junior, is among four people facing charges. The others are two 21-year-olds and a 22-year-old. Futrher details on the charges or the nature of the incident have not yet been released.

Bryan is also a basketball standout as a guard.
