ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. — Where does Highlands Supervisor Bob Livsey live?
That’s the question holding up the election results in Highlands, pending the decision based on a Nov. 13 court hearing, lohud.com reports
Livsey's opponent, Holly Farris-Gokey, filed an order to block certification of the supervisor's race until the court could clarify his residency, the story said. Nearing the end of his second two-year term, Livsey also served as Highlands supervisor in the 1990s before returning in 2012, the story said.
Livsey listed a Rockland house, in Stony Point, as his primary residence, the story said, but he also used used his Orange County property as his primary residence to hold elected office.
