STONY POINT, N.Y. -- In an ongoing effort to keep drivers notified of road closures related to the Spectra gas line project, Stony Point police on Monday issued a statement warning of anticipated traffic conditions.
The town, which includes Stony Point and Tomkins Cove, is expected to see a number of road and lane closures as the project moves forward.
In a Facebook post Monday, police said that Bulsontown Road was open to traffic, but that workers may close lanes as needed or stop traffic intermittently in the coming days.
Buckberg Road also will be subject to closures on Tuesday and Wednesday and could be closed overnight at the pipeline crossing, according to police.
Finally, work along Route 210 remains "very active with lots of cones and traffic barrels," according to police. Drivers are urged to slow down while moving through the area and pay attention as traffic patterns change.
