Albert Guelcher, 86, Of Garnerville

GARNERVILLE, N.Y. — Albert Guelcher, of Garnerville, died Aug. 17.

He was born Aug. 16, 1930, in the Bronx.

He was a Korean War Veteran, who had a strong love of God and country.

He worked as a supervisor for General Motors in Tarrytown until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia; three daughters, Carol Erdely (Joe), AnnMarie Weber (Herbert) and Catherine Gecosky; grandchildren, Kristyn, Joseph, Brittany, Emily, Madeline and Angelica; great-granddaughter, Citlaly; brothers, Arthur and Robert; and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at St Gregory Barbarigo RC Church, 21 Cinder Road, Garnerville. Immediately following the Mass, he will be laid to rest at the Fredrick W. Loescher Veterans Cemetery in New Hempstead.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to St. Gregory Barbarigo Parish Garnerville in his name.
