HAVERSTRAW, N.Y. -- George F. Gokey of Haverstraw died on Friday, Dec. 30. He was 87.
Gokey is survived by his wife, Catherine; children and their spouses, George and Michele, Michael and Jeanette and Fred and Annemarie; grandchildren Anthony, Geena, Alexandra, Nicholas, Joseph, John and Christian.
A wake will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, at the George M. Holt Funeral Home, 50 New Main St., Haverstraw.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, at Saint Peter’s Church, 115 Broadway.
Burial will follow at Saint Peter’s Cemetery, Route 9W, Haverstraw.
