GARNERVILLE, N.Y. -- Hilda Vitale, of Garnerville, died Tuesday Aug. 9. She was 84.
Born Oct 21, 1931, in Puerto Rico, she lived in Elmwood Park for 23 years before settling in Garnerville for the past 20 years.
She was the wife of the late Samuel P.; mother of Peter and Joseph; grandmother of nine; great-grandmother of eight; and sister of Lidia, Rosalina and the late Julie.
There will be a funeral at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the the Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home Inc., 274 Market St., Elmwood Park followed by an 11 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Leo’s R.C. Church, 324 Market St., Elmwood Park. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Saddle Brook, N.J.. Visiting hours will be from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
