WEST HAVERSTRAW, N.Y. – Mary Regena Linnsen, of Palm Bay, Fla. and formerly of West Haverstraw, died Sunday, Dec. 20. She was 85.
Linnsen was born Aug. 17, 1930, to James and Catherine Hurst McGarry, working as a registered nurse for Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield in New York City.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband Levi and son Bjarne.
She is survived by her daughter Susan Linnsen of Palm Bay, Fla., and friends Mary Ellen Clarke of Pearl River, Anne Marie Hogan of Pearl River, and Denis McCool of Montrose.
Visiting hours are from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Margaret’s R.C. Church in Pearl River.
Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
