Garnerville Man Found Dead In Auto Shop Robbery

The body of a Garnerville man was found dead in a car with a zip tie around his neck in the Bronx after two men wearing masks robbed an auto body shop where he worked, according to multiple reports.

Robert Bishun, 36, was found, along with two customers who were tied up, following the robbery, said PIX11.

Officers responded to the Proline Auto Specialists on Stillwell Avenue in Morris Park around 9 p.m.Tuesday after receiving a report of a robbery. When they arrived, they were told by the two customers, who were able to escape, that two men wearing mask had tied them up and put them inside the trunks of two cars, added PIX11.

Bishun was nowhere to be found. A few hours later, police found his car parked at 6071 Broadway with his body inside, said PIX11.

He was pronounced dead at Montefiore Medical Center, PIX11 added.

Police don't have any suspects and have not made any arrests, PIX 11 said.
