Man, 23, Wanted Since March After Rockland Bar Assault Caught

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Blauvelt man wanted since March for a brutal attack during a bar fight in Pearl River was nabbed by Orangetown Police last week.

Burim Sinanaj, 23, was charged Wednesday with felony assault for an attack on March 19 inside a Pearl River bar in which he assaulted another man causing severe lacerations to his face that required medical attention, said the Orangetown Police.

When officers arrived following the fight, Sinanaj was already gone, police said.

Sinanaj was processed at headquarters and released. He is scheduled to appear in court on May 3.
