ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A 30-year-old man was arrested on drug possession charges Thursday after receiving calls about an unconscious man in a car at a local gas station, according to the Stony Point Police.
Kyle Duddy of Goshen was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance after responding officers found 17 "decks" of heroin and at least a gram of cocaine, said Lt. Daniel Hylas.
Duddy was arrested around 10 p.m. when officers were directed to be on the lookout for a man in medical distress after receiving calls, Hylas said.
Officers located Duddy in his vehicle in a gas station parking lot. Medical units responded and checked him for medical issues, but he refused medical aid, police said.
A further investigation by patrol officers determined Duddy was in possession of the drugs, Hylas said.
Duddy was arrested and released with an appearance ticket to return to court July 18.
