Man Charged In Fatal New Windsor Hit-And-Run

NEW WINDSOR, N. Y. -- A 33-year-old Pine Bush man is facing DWI and vehicular manslaughter charges after police connected him to a fatal accident that killed a 31-year-old man walking on the side of Route 300 in New Windsor, Time Warner Cable News reports.

Michael Rule was also arraigned on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident. He's out on $10,000 bail, Time Warner Cable News says.

Authorities say Rule was driving on Route 300 on Monday night when his car hit 31-year-old Luis DeJesus as he walked on the side of the road, Time Warner Cable News reports.
