Daron Dyke, 29, was arrested after police responded to the crash on Route 303 and Kings Highway where they found Dyke's had driven his 2009 BMW off the road, striking several signs, police said.

When officers approached the car, they could smell alcohol and marijuana and Dyke's had glassy eyes and impaired motor coordination. During a search, officers found pot and open alcohol, police added.

Dyke was transported to Nyack Hospital for a minor injury where he consented to a blood test to determine if he had alcohol/drugs in his system, police said.

He was released and is due to appear in court on July 11.
