Man Charged With DWI Three Times In Two Weeks, With Third Time In Rockland

STONY POINT N.Y. -- A Highlands Falls man was charged for the third time in two weeks with driving while intoxicated on Sunday, this time in Stony Point.

Edwin F. Morocho, 24, was charged with DWI after Stony Point officers discovered he was drunk during a traffic stop and had a blood alcohol level above 0.08 lercent, said Stony Point Police Lt. Keith Williams.

Morocho has also been charged DWI in Spring Valley and Highland Falls over the past two weeks, Williams said. 

"He's still out driving because he hasn't been convicted on any of the charges at this time," Williams said. 

Morocho was processed and released on several traffic tickets. He is set to appear in court on Thursday, Sept. 15.
