STONY POINT, N.Y. -- Stony Point police have charged a 29-year-old man with criminal possession of stolen property and numerous other offenses, authorities said.
The suspect, identified as Michael Pagani, who is currently undomiciled and incarcerated, was arrested on an active arrest warrant out of Stony Point on Wednesday, July 20, according to officials.
The charges against Pagani include criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree, false personation, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and petty larceny, police report.
After processing, the defendant was returned to the Orange County Jail, according to officials.
Stony Point Lt. Keith Williams was unavailable to comment on the incident that preceded Pagani's arrest.
He is due back in the Stony Point Justice Court at a later date, police report.
