Man Nabbed For DWI After Traffic Stop In Nyack, Police Say

ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- A West Nyack man was charged with DWI after being stopped Friday for a traffic violation, according to Orangetown Police.

Thomas McKee, 21, was charged after being stopped on Sickles Avenue in Nyack for a traffic violation around 3:30 a.m., police said.

When officers approached his vehicle they noticed he had slurred speech and bloodshot eyes, police said.

He agreed to a number of field sobriety tests, which he failed. He also failed a breathalyzer test, they added.

McKee was released and is due to appear in court on June 20.
