Six Charged In Hudson Valley Prostitution Ring

WALLKILL, N.Y. – State Police in Middletown arrested six men during an anti-prostitution detail in Wallkill Wednesday, according to New York State Police.

The following men were arrested after they made contact with a female undercover police officer and requested she perform a sex act in exchange for money:

  • Lorne M. Gauthier, 28, of Middletown
  • Steven Williams, 30, Bloomingburg
  • Alberto M. Lopez, 32, of Middletown
  • Paul S. Mattaliano, 54, of Middletown
  • Ivan Cassas, 48, of Central Valley
  • Jorge L. Almonte, 23, of Middletown

All of the suspects were charged with patronizing a prostitute in the third degree. They were issued appearance tickets to appear in Town of Wallkill Court Tuesday, officials say.
