ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A local man wanted for disorderly conduct was nabbed with cocaine after a police officer recognized him walking down Main Street on Sunday in Nyack, said Orangetown Police.
Nicholas Diaz, 26, of Thiells, was arrested around 12:46 a.m. after the officer patrolling the Main Street area saw Diaz and knew there was active warrant for his arrest, police said.
During a search, police found two ziplock bags containing cocaine, police said.
Diaz was charged wtih felony possession of a controlled substance. He is being held at the Rockland County Jail on $5,000 bail.
