Woman, 25, Dies After Being Hit By Pickup Truck In Stony Point Driveway

A Stony Point woman lost her life on Sunday after being struck by a pickup truck that she had just gotten out of, according to the Stony Point Police.

Ashley Badenchini, 25, was hit around 2:11 a.m. in the driveway of 55 Thiels Road when she was struck by a 2015 Dodge truck in which she had been a passenger, said Lt. Keith Williams.

After being hit by the truck, Badenchini was transported to Westchester Medical Center where she died from injuries suffered as a result of the accident, he added.

The Stony Point Police were assisted by the Rockland County Sheriff’s B.C.I., Stony Point Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and Rockland Paramedic Services. 

An autopsy has been scheduled and the investigation is continuing.
