Jacqueline Zurla, of Wayne Avenue, is charged with felony counts of DWI with a child under age 16 and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She's also charged with lesser counts of endangering the welfare of a child and operating a vehicle while impaired, lohud.com reports.
Police, after responding to the accident on June 1, found marijuana wax and determined she was intoxicated. Authorities did not specify her relationship with the children, but the children were taken in by Rockland Child Protective Services, lohud.com says.
