Overall home sales in Rockland were up 29.3 percent in the first quarter compared to last year, according to the Hudson Gateway Multiple Listing Service.
In the first quarter, 444 singe-family homes were sold in Rockland, an increase of 23.7 from last year, according to HGMLS. Rockland also saw a 32.7 percent increase in condominiums sold, with 118 being sold in the first quarter.
A seller's market also means prices have gone up in Rockland. The median sale price of a single-family home was $425,000, a 6.5 percent increase from last year.
