Crashes on both the Palisades Interstate Parkway and I-87 in Rockland caused delays during the Wednesday morning commute.

The PIP crash occurred southbound at Exit 11 (New Hempstead Road), with traffic backed up to Exit 12 (Route 45) and injuries reported.

The crash on I-87 was also southbound and at the juncture to the PIP (Exit 13).

Both crashes, reported just before 8 a.m., moved to the shoulders of the roadways.
