A disabled tractor-trailer that resulted in the closure of a stretch of the northbound Palisades Interstate Parkway in Stony Point for more than an hour snarled the evening commute on Friday.
The closure, reported at 5:15 p.m., was between Gate Hill Road (Exit 15) and Lake Welch Drive (Exit 16) with stopped traffic at the scene and delays back to Willow Grove Road (Exit 14).
One lane reopened by 6:30 p.m.
