Like Eating Out? Try 'A Taste Of North Rockland' One-Stop Eating Event

WEST HAVERSTRAW, N.Y. -- How many restaurants have you been to in North Rockland? A one-stop tasting event will highlight many of the area's establishment Monday, Sept. 19 at West Haverstraw Village Hall.

A Taste of North Rockland is a fundraiser, co-sponsored by the North Rockland Lions Club and North Rockland Rotary Club. It's main event is a fare sampling, and a portion of the proceeds will help out local food pantries.

Participating restaurants include: Lynch's, Hudson Water Club, Hogan's Diner, Pasta Cucina, Babe's, 16 Front Street, Il Postino, Copper Still, Blackened Barrel, Saaz Indian, Gilligan's, Mountainview Catering, Mt. Ivy Cafe, and Sonoma Grill.

Tickets are the door (limited) are $40, cash or check only. Only 250 tickets will be sold for this event.

The event runs 6-9 p.m. at Samsondale Ave., West Haverstraw, N.Y.
