Man Caught Trying To Get Into Cash Register At Stony Point Store

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. --  A 20-year-old man was arrested on a warrant by Stony Point Police for trying to steal money from a cash register at a local business, police said.

Caleb Coyne, of Garnerville, was arrested at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, on the warrant charging him in an incident where he walked behind the counter at the Tractor Supply store on South Liberty Drive and attempted to get inside the cash register, said Lt. Daniel Hylas of the Stony Point Police.

Coyne was processed and released on $500 cash bail with an order to reappear in Stony Point Court on Dec. 7.
