Rockland Welcomes 161 New Citizens

POMONA, N.Y. -- There are 161 new Americans in Rockland County.

Rockland County held a Naturalization Ceremony at the Fire Training Center in Pomona on Friday, welcoming new American citizens from 43 different countries.

"I see the joy in your eyes as you choose to join this democracy and make the United States of America your home," County Executive Ed Day said.
