HAVERSTRAW, N.Y. -- A local man was charged with breaking a storefront window on Board Street on Sunday, Oct. 23, according to the Haverstraw police.
Ramon Reyes, 28, was charged after turning himself into police following an investigation that pointed the finger at Reyes as being the person responsible for the crime, police said.
According to police the window appeared to have been broken out with the barrel of a handgun. A BB gun pistol, that replicated a real hand gun utilized in the incident was recovered from Reyes.
Reyes was charged with criminal mischief and released on his own recognizance.
