Police Involved Fatal Shooting Reported In Hudson Valley

MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. -- The New York State Police and the Orange County District Attorney's Office are investigating an officer involved fatal shooting involving the City of Middletown Police Department.

There will be a press conference at the Troop F Headquarters, 55 Crystal Run Rd. in Middletown, at 1 p.m. on Thursday. The press conference will discuss circumstances surrounding the shooting that took place in the evening on July 13 in the City of Middletown when officers from the City of Middletown responded to a domestic incident call on 109 Overlook Drive.

The shooting came after police responded to a domestic call at the Overlook Apartment Complex around 7 p.m. in which a female called saying that her former boyfriend was armed and in the house and threatening to kill her, according to News 12.
