Police Seek Suspect In Haverstraw Chase Bank Robbery

HAVERSTRAW, N.Y. -- The Chase Bank in Haverstraw was robbed just minutes before closing on Monday, with the robber getting away with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to News 12.

The Chase Bank on Route 9W in Haverstraw was robbed Monday just minutes before closing by a man who passed the teller a note demanding cash.

Police said the man walked into the bank on Route 9W and handed the teller a note demanding cash. Investigators did not say if a weapon was displayed, said News 12.

The heist is the latest in a string of bank robberies throughout the Hudson Valley over the past two months of which several have been connected, added News 12.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Haverstraw police at 845-354-1500.
