Ryan Franklin, 27, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. Sunday after police received a call on Saturday from a woman on Janet Place who wanted to report a past domestic incident, Lt. Daniel Hylas said.
The woman reported that Franklin has entered the home without permission, got into a physical altercation with the woman and then smashed her cell phone on the wall, destroying it, Hylas said.
He was charged with felony burglary, criminal mischief, harassment, and attempted assault. He is being held without bail at the Rockland County Jail.
