Tuesday's victors were as follows:
District 1: Republican Douglas Jobson (Stony Point), who ran unopposed.
District 2: (includes parts of Haverstraw, Pomona, Mount Ivy, Thiells). Democratic incumbent Michael Grant beat Republican P.T. Thomas with 1,377 to 879.
District 3(parts of West Haverstraw and Haverstraw villages) Democratic incumbent Jay Hood Jr. beat GOP challenger Kevin Brestolli 904 to 526.
District 4: Democrat Ilan Schoenberger (parts of Wesley Hills, New Square and Ramapo,) who ran unopposed.
District 5: (New City) Lon Hofstein, a Republican who won a specical election to fill Ed Day's former seat beat Democrat Christopher Martone 2,567 to 1,976.
District 6 : Democrat Alden Wolfe (parts of Suffern, Montebello, Monsey and Ramapo) who ran unopposed.
District 7: Democrat Philip Soskin (parts of Monsey, Kaser and Ramapo) who ran unopposed.
District 8: (parts of Ramapo, New Hempstead and Spring Valley) Incumbent Toney Earl Sr. beat GOP Betty Carmand and Jean-Claude Mehu with 955 to 405 and 37, with 92% of the vote counted.
District 9: (includes parts of Nanuet and Bardonia) Incumbent Christopher Carey, the Legislature's GOP minority leader beat Demcrat Thomas Ninan, Rockland County's CSEA president, 2,668 to 1,315.
District 10 Democrat Harriet Cornell (parts of Valley Cottage, Upper Nyack and Clarkstown), who ran unopposed.
District 11: (Congers and northern Clarkstown) Republican Laurie Santulli beat Richard Diaz Jr. 2,691 to 1,736.
District 12: (western Ramapo) Republican Charles Falciglia beat Democrat Patsy Wooters 3,039 to 1,757. Joseph Meyers, a Democrat representing Distrct 12 in western Ramapo, didn't seek re-election.
District 13: (parts of Ramapo) Democratic incumbent Aaron Wieder beat Jacques Michel, on the Reform line, 1,116 to 465.
District 14: Democrat Aney Paul (mostly western Clarkstown), who ran unopposed.
District 15: Republican Patrick Maroney (parts of Pearl River and Orangetown), who ran unopposed.
District 16: Republican Vince Tyer (Tappan and western Orangetown), who ran unopposed. Orangetown's Jon Murphy, who stepped down, bequeathed his District 16 seat to Tyer.
District 17: (parts of South Nyack, West Nyack, Sparkill, Grand View-n-Hudson, Piermont and Orangeburg. Democratic incumbent Nancy Low-Hogan beat. Michael Bryceland on Conservative and Reform lines 2,266 to 885.
