Rockland Elementary School Ranks Among State's Best

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Montebello Elementary School was ranked the 100th-best elementary school in New York State, according to education website Niche.

Niche compiled data on elementary schools and graded them in four weighted categories:

Academics
Overall district experience
Teachers
Student culture and diversity

Montebello earned an A+ grade for overall district experience and an A in Teachers. The school earned an overall grade of A-. It was the only school in Rockland County to make the list.
