Three Charged After Drug Raids In Poughkeepsie, Fishkill
Three people were arrested following drug raids in Poughkeepsie and the village of Fishkill by members of the Dutchess County Drug Task Force.
The raids went down on Tuesday, April 9, following a lengthy investigation into narcotics sales and activity at Shirley Avenue in Fishkill and the Red Roof Inn in Poughkeepsie, said Frank Tasciotti, assistant coordinator of the Drug Task Force.

Several Paterson police squads united for an all-out blitz that in only eight hours produced 14 arrests, 988 motor vehicle summonses and the seizure of a combined 66 bags of cocaine and pot, along with $6,700 in drug proceeds, authorities said.
Throughout that entire time, they said, the city streets were quiet.

Paterson police arrested several dealers and buyers throughout the city over a 10-day span, seizing more than 800 heroin folds, 75 vials and 10 bags of crack, $1,660 in cash, and an illegal handgun and ammo, authorities said Thursday.
In one strike, narcotics detectives hit a notorious drug neighborhood -- Godwin Avenue and Auburn Street -- arresting several accused street dealers and buyers while seizing 155 heroin folds, along with 66 vials and four bags of crack, Police Director Jerry Speziale said.

3 Charged In Takedown Of Hudson County Heroin, Fentanyl Mill Linked To 84 Deaths
Three people were charged in connection with the takedown of a Hudson County heroin and fentanyl mill that was linked to 227 overdoses including 84 deaths, authorities said.
Timothy Guest, 45 of Irvington, William Woodley, 27 of Belleville, and Selionel Orama, 25 of Cedar Grove, were arrested in connection with the Harrison drug mill in which authorities seized 32,500 doses and four kilos of fentanyl and heroin, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp said in a release.

Woman Eats Crack Cocaine During Takedown By Narc Squad, Stamford Police Say
A woman was nabbed by the Stamford Police Narc Squad after allegedly stuffing a couple of bags of crack cocaine in her mouth when approached by officers.
Kelly Palmer, 48, of Bridgeport, was arrested around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, after agents received a tip that she would in town to sell the drugs out of her silver Toyota Camry, said Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin.
When Palmer arrived at her destination on Stillwater Avenue, awaiting officers boxed in her car and moved to remove her from her vehicle.
