Deputies were called shortly before 10 p.m. on Sept. 11 to the 3700 block of Glen Dower Drive, where they were met by a man in the driveway suffering from an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. A 67-year-old New York driver was cited for causing a motorcycle crash in Hackensack on Wednesday night, Sept. 11, police said. The New York man was behind the wheel of a Cadillac SUV when he left a left turn in front of a motorcycle around 9:20 p.m. at Lodi Street and Polifly Road, Hackensack Police Capt. Michael Antista said. The motorcyclist, 26, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
