Gran Fondo Bicycle Event Rides Through Orangeburg ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- The Orangetown Police Department has issued an advisory on the Gran Fondo Bicycle Event that will will pass through Orangetown on Sunday, May 15.  Bicyclists will begin traveling north on Route 9W through Palisades at around 7:30 a.m. before traveling along River Road and Piermont Ave. The northbound bicyclists should be out of the area by 9 a.m. Southbound bicyclists traveling south on Western Highway through Blauvelt into Orangeburg will begin arriving at around 10 a.m. They will turn onto Orangeburg Road towards Route 303 then use the Rail to Trail to Sparkill.
